After Billy D released his first Solo Americana Album “Living On The Run” he went on the road with Ramblin Jack Elliott,  Peter Rowan and John Prine. Just being around such great talents as these can send shivers up and down your spine and that’s exactly what happened to Billy D. “I saw these men work at their craft night after night never tiring going from one stage to the next town after town. It was at this point that I knew I had some more work to do”.

Billy D started working the Beer Gardens, Dive Bars, Honky Tonks, and Street Festivals all over  San Francisco, Marin County, Sonoma County, East Bay and Oakland.  Painstaking  three and four hour shows paved the way for Billy D to hone his craft and forge his new sound, and style.

“Sometimes it seemed as though the audience didn’t even know or care if I was there which gave me the opportunity to spontaneously improvise without any restrictions”. “I finally realized I was ready to begin another Recording Project with a Refreshing new feel for my Music”.

2017 Marks a new era in writing for me. After multitudes of live performances all over San Francisco and The Greater Bay Area I have finally earned something to write about. We live in a time of great controversy which fertilizes the fields of creativity. Just the right time and place for a new well of songs to be born.
